Altar Servers
Students, in grades 4th to 8th, serve at both daily and Sunday liturgies. By learning to be an altar server, young people provide vital assistance to the church and help lead the congregation in prayer. They learn to respect God's church but also learn to respect themselves.

First Reconciliation
Second grade students have their First Reconciliation in the fall. Preparing children for the Sacrament of Reconciliation allows us to show them that God is love and that in mercy He is always ready to forgive, no matter what the wrong.

First Communion
In the spring, second grade students celebrate their First Communion. Communion simply represents what Jesus did for us. We celebrate the real presence of Christ in the bread, wine, and gathered community.

Confirmation
Eighth grade students complete the sacraments of Initiation with the celebration of Confirmation in the spring. Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives them the increased ability to practice their Catholic faith in every aspect of their lives and to witness Christ in every situation.

Rosary
To honor our Mother Mary, students take part in the rosary weekly in the months of October and May. Each rosary is led by a student group. Students also take part in the May Crowning; each grade level has a role in the crowning. The Rosary is our prayer to God through the intercession of the Blessed Mother.

Bible Blessing
In fourth grade, student receive a Bible, which is blessed at a special mass in September.

Stations of the Cross
Weekly, throughout Lent, students take part in the Stations of the Cross led by upper grade students. The Stations of the Cross commemorate Jesus's passion and death on the cross. There are 14 stations that each depict a moment on his journey to Calvary, usually through sacred art, prayers, and reflections. The week before Easter, 8th grade students perform a Living Stations.
